D.A.R.E., Define Asses Respond Evaluate. Every Tuesday Igo to D.A.R.E. class with my officer ,Officer Mike. During D.A.R.E. class we always learn alot about how to be more responsible with the choices we make and diffrent ways to communicate.In my opinion D.A.R.E. class is AMAZING!
Moreover D.A.R.E. class is we learn many things. The first lesson Officer Mike tought us was about
"Alcohol Use".Basically what I learned is that it slows down your brain and body,weakens the heart muscle and, can damage every organ of your body.Then I learned about "Tabacco Use".I learned that there are many harmful chemicals in a cigarette,close to 50,000 deaths per year in second hand smoking,causes heart disease, causes more colds and, yellow your teeth. Next I learned about "Risky Situations".In this lesson I learned that if your in a situation that you know is bad or you just dont want to do it walk away or tell the person how you feel.After that lesson we learned about "Safe and Responsible Choices". In that lesson I learned about diffrent ways of getting out of risky situations in a good way .This is what i learned in D.A.R.E.! …show more content…
decision making model in my every day life.One example has to do with risky situations.My friend wanted to cheat off me on our math test.And shes a really good friend and i didnt want to say no but i wasnt going to risk getting an F or being sent to the Principals office. So I thought it really well and told her I coudnt. Thanks to the D.A.R.E decision making model i now get to make decisions easier for
