In mid October early in the morning the day was crisp and chill. The sun was just burning the morning fog off of the lakes cool waters. The dew on the grass and trees was glistening from the sunlight and the bird were singing their songs of jubilee . The entire woods were peaceful and still, and the sunrise was magnificent. During this moment I realized how beautiful nature is when the outside world is a distant memory, and all we need to do is take advantage of the little things life gives us and never stress the big ones too much. Early that morning I woke up to go deer hunting. It was as dark as a room with no lights or windows. There was no moon and the stars were very dull. I never realized what nature would show me as soon as I would climb in my treestand later that morning. As I walked outside I realized it was a very quiet morning with little wind and a chill in the air. I could see my breath billow out of my mouth like smoke. The air I sucked in made my nostrils cold and my nose began to run. As I crawled into my vehicle I wondered if there would be any deer in sight since it was …show more content…
I sat for 5 minutes and pondered about life. Then mother nature took her course and showed her face. As the sun the sun started peeking over the horizon birds started singing jubulous songs, and animals scuffled about everywhere in the woods. Never had I experienced such a beautiful moment. It was as if someone had flipped a switch because as one animal started moving there was another. There was almost a chain reaction, like all the animals were on the same alarm clock. A buck walked under me stopped looked and then went on to the pond as calm as ever. Everywhere I looked I saw God's creation roaming about, enjoying the beautiful calm morning. I just sat back and took everything in. At this point there was nothing to do but smile, and appreciate the little things in
