In these two written works, Ismene from, Antigone and Dalton from, Dead Poets Society. These two characters showed that they would risk something for what they believed in. In Antigone, Ismene; even though quite the contrary compare to her sister, Antigone. Ismene still manages to respect Antigone’s beliefs, due to having a strong conviction. As shown in Antigone, Creon risks Thebes.Since it symbolizes a civil war that was an unforgivable sacrifice for niece, Antigone and son, Haeman. Expressing on how Creon isn’t quite fond of Antigone. Creon wants the absolute best for his son, Haeman. In Dead Poets Society, Point of view arises, for Mr.Keating. He risked his job for his students, because he wanted them to think freely without any fear. Mr.Keating also went against the rules, because he knew how he wasn’t allowed to teach a certain method. He wanted to give them a more well-rounded education. It’s something that no teacher in that school would give them. There is a Setting arising for both, Antigone and Dead Poets Society, apparently.
