Darwin’s Theories on Evolution
“The theory of evolution by natural selection, first formulated in Darwin 's book "On the Origin of Species" in 1859, is the process by which organisms change over time as a result of changes in heritable physical or behavioral traits. Changes that allow an organism to better adapt to its environment will help it survive and have more offspring” (What Is Darwin 's Theory of Evolution). Only the best nations would survive and the smaller/weaker ones would be taken over by the best. This led to bigger nations getting more land and taking their land that had many useful resources for themselves. Big countries today make alliances with other big countries and smaller countries to protect them from being attacked by anyone who is bigger or smaller. All big countries today have similar military equipment but it is a lot harder for a smaller country to get the amount of military supplies another country may have or even some of the equipment due to price and production to make it. Some countries can just be on their own due to the fact that countries don’t like their ideas on the world and what they want. Darwin’s theories were used to justify the effects of a business by not letting the government tax private business’s. This would let the business be more successful by making more money. Of course the business that were making and selling more products would succeed while the smaller business would go out of business. Today business get taxed on how much income they made that year. There are different percentage rated depending on how much the business made that year. International Affairs were effected by Darwin’s theories because nobody wanted to be the weaker nation. Every nation wanted to show how they were adapted the best by having the best resources and best technology. Today we do have some countries that don’t work together but most want to trade for other resources they might not be able to have. Today the U.S has many international affairs, some are beneficial and some aren’t. The countries that the U.S helps are beneficial because if the U.S ever been attacked by Japan over nuclear weapons then we would ask for help from our relations to save our country and to destroy our
