In the beginning of 2002, Seaman and Boedecker learned of a new boating clog which was produced by Foam Creations, Inc. located in Canada. The clog, which featured a closed-cell resin, subsequently “allowed the shoe to be lighter than traditional, rubber-soled boat shoes” and by it also molding to the wearers foot, “it was even less likely to cause slippage when on a wet boat deck” (Reference for Business, -----).
