The legal system is constantly progressing with proposed reforms being put forth in order to improve current legislation to improve society. Law has the ability to spark a debate amongst the nation, especially when controversial topics are being discussed. For example, the Assisted Dying Bill, recently voted on in the Commons was denied. Some suggest that the bill was refused due to the controversial topic of euthanasia; based not only on religious beliefs but also secular, humanistic views. My business course requires me to use my own initiative to keep track of each piece of assignment completed in an organised approach, whilst taking ownership of the grade I can achieve. At the same time, Psychology has allowed me to understand the key aspects of both long-term and short-term memory as well as mnemonic memory techniques that are used when retaining information, both of these skills I believe will allow me to stay on top of assignment deadlines at university and during working life.
