In order to pursue your career in law enforcement, as a criminal investigator, it is generally required to have a bachelor’s degree. “In college it would be recommended to have a degree in a hard science background and getting a minor in chemistry would be helpful as well” (California Department of Justice Crime Lab). Whether it is biology, forensics, chemistry, geology, entomologist, molecular biologist, biochemist, physicist, statistics, and any type of physical science is all you need.
