I have been practicing for both sports, but I could not figure out which sport would be better for me in the future, and I couldn't figure out which sport I enjoyed more. I grew up watching and playing football with my brothers, I never really played softball. At age 5, my parents signed my brother and I up for T- ball, in which the coach made my position in outfield. What 5 year old is going to hit to outfield? None, and how do I know, because at every game I would stand all the way in the back and play with the grass and look at the clouds until I got called back in so that I could hit or I got yelled at for not paying attention. I was bored, sitting and doing nothing. I quit after that year, which made my dad unhappy. I tried many other sports after that, from soccer, to cheerleading, and even karate.I started to look into the sports that could help my future. I didn't see any colleges with flag football for girls but I seen many colleges with softball. If I am looking to help improve my future then I should play softball, but if I was looking to have fun with friends, flag football was going to be my choice. I didn't know what to do. I began to think about the best way to get a scholarship into college. I definitely didn't think that a college with no flag football program would give a flag football scholarship, so that made me lean to softball a little more. I began to also see an improvement in my softball skills as I worked
