He hadnt long to wonder however, as he stood and examined the room there was another rumble through the castle and an almighty crash as the bricks ad masonry of the roof showered down, diving to the side, he rose to see a huge, monstrous creature land in the center of the room, or perhaps land was to elegant a term. The creatures stubby legs were the first thing he saw, two feet that looked small compared to the legs they were attatched to, the legs of the creature were large, the belly of the beast was larger, dropping down and fat, and in the monsters hands was a massive club, studded with metal and partially covered in dried blood. The monster roared and stepped forward its club ready to swing, Venns eyes widened in fear and he turned on his heel, looking for an escape. Peering through the dim of the corridor he paused as the corridore sharply turned left, peering down the corridore he saw another man, as he turned into the corridore he called out "hello there? sir?" the man turned and raised what looked like a bow, pulling it back as Venn dived for cover as an arrow skimmed where he once was. Venn thought quick, diving from cover and dodging an arrow as he went, launching himself into one of the cells and looking at the man at the end of the corridor, occasionally sending an arrow his way to dissuade him from trying to come out. Venn glanced behind him, searching for a weapon, but seeing nothing besides a small wooden shield on a fallen body, next to a sword with the blade broken at the crossguard. Venn shrugged and took the shield in his left hand holding it before him and diving from his cover, running down the corridore towards the archer and diving into another cell, the archer loosed another arrow before turning and running down the
