The cranium which is also known as a skull is a skeletal structure of the head which overall, protects us from damage and supports our face (2). The cranium is divided into two sections; the facial bones and the brain case. The facial bones are there to support the face and it allows movement co-ordination to eat, chew, talk and so on. The facial bones also, supports the teeth and the upper and lower jaws whereas; the brain case supports and protects the brain overall (2). The cranium bones are flat bones (3). Some of the flat bones are; the frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital bones
