When an animal is born in captivity their natural instincts may not kick in. These animals are raised without the fear of predators, the instinct to hunt, or even to be on their own. Once the animals are released into the wild they are subject to predators and poachers. These animals will expect their food to be given to them, and this might cause them to eventually starve to death. Raising animals in captivity decreases their chances of survival in the wild drastically. According to “The Impact of Animal Protection” the release of animals from captivity will be very dangerous since they’re just released back to their home, they will need their instincts that they may have forgotten how to use. This is why animals are better off in the wild because, it won’t be dangerous to release them back to the wild because they are already there knowing what to do and how to do it.
