The Corinthian Church was found in the city of Corinth which is located in Sothern Greece. The Church was found by Paul when he went on his second missionary journey, which he ministry for a year and half. The Corinthian Church was built-in by some Jews but it was mostly tranquil by of Gentile converts. According to Paul the Corinthian Church congregation were socially and humble people with a mix of slaves. He also indicates that members of the Corinthian Church were wise, powerful and noble people from Birth. The Corinthian Church was made of mix gender as well were women was fully involved in the Church life including gathering for worship, prayed aloud and divining.
The sins of the Church of Corinth are totally different from today because of the modern times that we live into today and generation has change from generation after generation so the sins in today church are unlike. In Chapter five and six Paul pointed out two subject that afflicting in the Corinthian Church which are immorality and lawsuits. In chapter five it is more discourse about pride and passivity about the church and how it reach out to the sinners. In Chapter five it deliberate about the problem of immorality and the obligation of the church discipline. Chapter six deal with a little of immorality at the end of the chapter but it mostly compact with Christian bring each other to law court and also which Paul teach on immorality. Confronting immorality in the Corinthian Church is sexually immorality which is a sexually activity out of marriage including homosexuality, a next common sins was “that has a man has his father wife” which clearly stated that a man have a sexual relationship out of marriage and also tent to be sleeping with his step
