Punctuation was a nightmare for me in the past couple of years because I did not write a lot then. I decided to focus on punctuation whenever I am writing, or whenever I had time I used to go to a website online and played a little game that helped me to become better at punctuation. However, the easiest part was the punctuation section in the LSA, I finished it faster than any part of the LSA. The area that I was the weakest in was the “Dangling and Missed placed modifiers.” English is my second language, so it is a little hard for me to speak and write very well. I learned a lot of English grammar in high school and English language institutions after I graduated from high school. The problem is that I have not heard of dangling or misplaced modifiers. It is maybe the teachers who taught me were not good enough, so that is why I suffered while trying to finish this part. I hope that I can learn more about those modifiers. When I finished the learning Smart Achievement, I was really proud of myself. I think that I really improved in most of the parts that I had problems on. Now, I know I can write a proper research paper with little or even no

Even though it does not feel as though I have improved much, I know that the grades on my essays say differently. After looking over my essays, I noticed that I have become better with using evidence to support my papers. This, to me, is my best accomplishment. I have also improved on my word choice, organization, and how I use my quotes. My writing has changed; it is easier to write a couple pages and the not be so afraid of writing papers. This is because of the amount I’ve been writing for the class, and how comfortable I was to be able to speak my mind to you. These two pages didn’t faze me.
