Concealed Carry of Handguns refers to carrying a gun in public in a concealed manner. In concealed carry system, there are not any requirements that the handguns or any other weapons carried by a person should be visible. There is a story behind the evolution of the carry of concealed handguns on campuses. Before the deadliest mass shooting in the university of United States, no one did really pressurize and had a movement for the concealed carry of a gun on the schools and campuses. According to Newsweek, on April 17, 2007, a student named Seung-Hui Cho shot and killed 32 people and injured 17 more. I personally would never support this rule. I do not agree with the concealed carry of handguns in schools or campuses. I feel that it is a holy place where we learn, where we grow and where we have the safest environment. So what 's the point of carrying guns in concealed way? I really don 't think that students who come to schools would have such a criminal thinking of killing someone. All of the students come to schools for studying so it can hardly be assumed that students really need concealed carry of guns. Also, what if a teacher scolds one of the students in front of all class because she/he misbehaved in the classroom or cheated in the exam so in this case what if that student had concealed the gun and in anger and feel of revenge, she/he shoots at the teacher. These are the most common incidents that might happen in class. I think that permitting concealed handguns would increase crimes and the students who do not believe or follow this rule may feel unsafe in classroom or campuses. For me, it would be great if the all the states ban the concealed carry of handguns on campuses and make us feel safe in the place where we go to learn and explore the books for our bright

In her opinion piece, Zenobia Harris shows the potential unintended consequences of carrying a firearm on campus. She provides solid statistics from notable organizations such as the RAND Corporation and CNN and a refuting argument from a state legislator. She ends her argument stating that protection of students should be left to the police on campus, and that students should find other means of protection other than firearms. The potential negative outcomes really do seem to outweigh the positive aspects of carrying a firearm on…

The argument toward allowing guns on campus could be that allowing more guns on campus could create a possible mass-shootings because people have more access towards guns and bringing them on campus, but however because of this there could be students who have no want to cause a mass shooting instead they want to protect themselves, and other classmates from a possibly dangerous individual. When a shooter enter campus a “good people find themselves in what he calls “ the dark place”,confronted by the imminent terror of a gun-wielding homicidal maniac, the picture becomes clear”,a piece of paper,a sign that says gun free zone or a federal gun law won 't protect us from being murder instead the best protection is a “prepared and brave defender with the proper lifesaving tool-a gum”(Wheeler 619-620).A way to prevent the mass-shootings from increasing because of they allow guns on campus would be to install programs that show who is carrying a gun,if they legally purchased it,do they have a history of violence?,should they carry a gun because of their criminal record even if it may not be a violent and if not then they will not be allowed to carry one legally on campus. This protocol would be used to make sure that we don 't have the wrong people carry guns because those people may be the ones to attack the school,so instead we allow a majority of the guns to carried by the good students as well as the professors. Even with these protocols, we cannot completely end…
