In recent times the environmental surroundings have deteriorated quite substantially and the gradual heating of the earth’s atmosphere is a consequence of individual and industrial activity. The report issued by the scientists indicates numerous environment transform risks: rising ocean levels, erosion of shorelines, disturbance of agriculture, and loss of animal habitat. The report also suggests that Con-Gloom Inc. are using excuses to avoid complying with federal emissions standards since they believe that we are more concerned with earning revenues and neglect the environment completely.

Con-Gloom Inc. is very much concerned about its surroundings and for the betterment of the environment it is necessary to install filtering systems at our sites irrespective of the current financial crisis faced by the company but such action will ensure that the environment remains safe and secure. The installation of the filtering systems will cost the company around $75,000 at each site.

If we install the filtering systems at ten sites then the company will be strained to shut its oldest and least competent manufacturing plant, situated in Greenwich, Illinois. This act would cause to lay off 1,400 employees, in a region previously tormenting from elevated joblessness. However, the company has got an alternative plan which will require installing only 5 filtering systems as in that case the plant at Greenwich will not have to be shut down and the company will be to lay off only 700 employees. This alternative will also save the cost of 5 extra filtering systems for the time
