This kind of post became normal after celebrities started posting pictures of themselves showing skin. For example, Kylie Jenner picture of her brother got 1,709,845 likes, but when she published a photo only wearing a bikini it got 2,521,070 likes. The person that publishes something expects to obtain a brief moment of fame, for that teen's post whatever is popular to get the feeling of popularity. In the article “Why This Generation Is So Completely Obsessed With The Idea Of Celebrity” the author says “Social media sites allow us to experience something eerily akin to fame. They give us a captive audience.” This means that we have more opportunities to obtain fame with social media because we have our own audience that there to hear what we have to say. We see celebrities as role model because we want to have the fame, we can get this fame with social media, it's less work that will give us the same results as with the old way. That is until everything that they expect to be there is not that is the worst part that when that popularity is gone it leaves the person with a broken heart.
