This is done when the company offers in store tutorials of products sold by company, but the consumers use the “showrooming” to test out the product, but makes its purchase from a lower priced rival. The company feels that they must come up with a way to demonstrate and offer the best quality product, at a competitive sale prices as their rival (Zimmerman, 2012). “As firms collect greater amounts of data about their customers from an even broader set of touchpoints, a new set of methodological challenges arise” (Feit, Wang, Bradlow, & Fader, 2013). In geographic, the major markets are in Europe and Asia. There are three methods to determine the price of the product: cost-plus, competitiveness and value-basis. For cost-plus, as the cost of beats’ product increase, the price of the product will rise at the same time. In terms of competitiveness, if the price of beats’ products are much higher than the average level of the market, which means they will lose a lot of market share because people are not able to pay for that kind of products. Therefore, if a company want to keep a appropriate market share through out the industry, they need to set a competitive price which enables them to gain profits and are affordable for consumers.…

Throughout life, many consumers may not think about where the clothes that he or she wears comes from or who made it. My favorite pair of black compact boots that I bought from Target is made in China. Target has rules and regulations in place to protect employees that work in these factories, but is that enough to protect them. Many employees that work for Chinas factories work in harsh and unhealthy conditions. Some employee’s goes days with a day off or are forces to work.…

If I were hired by the Brazilian government I would step in and limit the formation of the monopoly. I believe the accumulation of power and leverage on behalf of the suppliers largely revolves around the fact that monopolies can ultimately control supply in its entirety for a specified product or service. Through using this control, a profit maximizing monopoly could create societal risks such as, price discrimination, which means they would have control of the entire supply, and allows them to charge customers their desired prices, which most of the time are not standard prices. I believe it is unfair to the buyers and consumers that they should only have one choice and have to pay the desired amount for the services and goods, due to having this monopoly. While having a monopoly we may also experience reduced efficiency due to the fact that the competition is closely linked to incentives.…
