When feeling compassionate, you feel concerned for others and wish to treat them more than they’re worth. If I were to be able to take the people in need, I would do it in such a heart beat. When reading the book Night by Elie Wiesel, I realized how compassionate he was throughout his whole journey of the Holocaust. To begin, Elie Wiesel from the start, was so generous enough to be able to share his own story. In this case, it would be so hard for someone to go through so much and still be able to have courage to talk about it. He talks about the people from his city being taken away, never seeing them again but one person who was able to come back to the city of Sighet and talk about what horrible things the Germans did to them.
