I am very excited to be taking English this semester because I love to read and write.I will describe myself as a determined learner because I am willing to learn anything and to try my best on any task.I know in order to succeed in English three this year I have to give 100% on every test,homework and assignment. I love all types of literature such as fiction, nonfiction, speeches and reports. My favorite fiction book is the Secret Life of Bees and my favorite non fiction book is Marley and Me.Poetry is my least favorite literature because it’s tough comprehending what the author is try to say or finding what the theme, moral or central idea is. I truly will love to learn to love poetry and to be able to comprehend what it says because poetry is very unique. During English three I will love to learn more about Maya Angelou and Edgar Allan Poe poetry because both poets poetry is unique and empowering. I am extremely excited to be reading new novels this

when reading novel to My weakness in English is writing an essay and coming up with an thesis statement. This year I will love to improve on my writing skills and my test taking skills.
