Athena was not born normally, oh no, her birth was one that may not be the best for anyone. Zeus, God of the Gods and the Sky, was married to Metis, his first wife. Athena was one of the strongest Goddesses and since trouble was often in Olympus, she was one with many battles under her name. One was the fight between Hera, Aphrodite, and the Goddess of War herself, they all battled for the Golden Apple of Eris that read Kallisti, which mean “For the fairest.” Athena lost this battle by Aphrodite, when Paris, the judge, choose her over all. Another famous battle was the battle of Athens, Athena and Poseidon fought with one another to be the god of the Athens, Poseidon raised a salt spring while Athena created an olive tree that gave fruit and other goods.
