Xena Vs Buffy “In a time of Ancient Gods, Warlords, and Kings; a land in turmoil cried out for a hero. She was Xena a mighty princess forge in the heat of battle, the Power, the Glory, the Passion, the Danger, her courage will change the world.” “In every generation there is a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampire and demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer.” If anyone has ever watch the late 1990’s TV show Xena Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. One can hear those sayings. When someone watches these TV shows, they find out that in both TV shows that Xena and Buffy are the lead characters. They both have a strong female lead. So I am going to compare and contrast the type of people they fight against,

Xena is trained to fight with many different weapons. She knows how to use a sword, spears, staffs, hand to hand combat, and she uses a chakram which is her trademark. The ability of the chakram is once it is thrown it ricochet off objects and return to the thrower, and which requires high dexterity to catch. Even though Xena is trained in many different weapons she likes to use hand to hand combat and her chakram. Xena also knows pressure points, and she uses them when she fights, and later in the series she has the ability to kill the Gods. She got that ability after her daughter Eve was baptized. Also Xena has a sidekick that helps her fight against the kings, warlords, and Gods. Her sidekicks name is Gabrielle and she is an Amazon princess/Queen. She is trained to fight with a staff, sword, and Sai. She also know how to use the chakram. Xena also showed Gabrielle how to use pressure points when she fights. Xena and Gabrielle is known to use the “pinch” which is a pressure point that cuts the blood flow from the brain. They mostly use the pinch while they interrogate the people they need information from. Xena also sometimes gets help from one of her other friends Joxer. Joxer does not really help much, but he makes a good distraction when Xena and Gabrielle are needing one. Buffy has no problem fighting the vampires and demons, but she has one weakness and that is she fell in love with a vampire and when it came to the time to kill him she could not do it. She could not do it because she loved him too much, so she sent him to LA. She sent him there so no one can hurt him, because most vampires want him dead. Demons were all scared of the Slayer ever creature of the night is scared of her because of her title the Slayer. While Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an excellent warrior, no one can defeat superiority and complexity of Xena Warrior Princess. That is because she has more abilities than Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Xena did the one thing that no one could ever do and that was killing the Gods because they wanted to kill her daughter, they learned their lesson never mess with a mamma and her cub this is why I think Xena is the better
