Compare And Contrast Vs. The Andy Griffith Show

The story “The Monster are due on Maple Street” is only one of the two stories I am comparing and contrasting. The other story I am contrasting and comparing is a televison show called “The Andy Griffith Show”. These two stories have many things in common and many differences. The things I will be comparing and contrasting are things like mood settings and the irony of these two stories. I will also add another paragraph after the comparing and contrasting to add more information about the topic. All the things that I say in these two paragraphs will be comparing the stories.The mood of the stories at the begining of each story was happy and fun.The irony of both stories are a lot in common because of the oppisite things happening. The setting of the two stories are a small community. The theme of the stories are alike because they both have things to do with the man’s mind and his/her suspistions. More details for the mood is that from the begining of both stories to the middle they grew suspistions about each other. The irony of the two stories have the fact that near the end of the story they don’t work together they fight the ones they have suspistions about. The mood of the stories got more and more different into the middle and end of the stories.The mood into the endish part of Maple Street is that everyone gets suspicious of each other.The differences of the settings is that the town of Mayberry in the “Andy Griffith Show” is farther from the city than Maple Street.The ironies of the stories were very different because the irony of Maple Street is that everyone that lived on Maple Street started to fight against each other.The themes of the stories are alike but the difference of the “Andy Griffith Show” is don’t let suspisions get to your
