The senate has a total of a hundred elected and with two being from each state. Senators serve a six year term and can be re-elected multiple times. The house of representatives has 435 voting representatives. The amount of representatives from each state is based on the state’s population. The House of Representatives, similar to the senate can also be re-elected multiple times.
