Compare And Contrast Mississippi State Colleges

Choosing the college best for you can be one of the hardest decisions. It can be hard because every school is different. I would want the college that best suits me. Looking up schools will help me get the information that I need. What are the costs? Is it a good location? Do they have the sports you are interested in? Do they have the program you want to major in? How is the environment? There are several questions that need to be answered before attending a college. The two colleges I would love to attend are University of Southern Mississippi, home of the eagles and Mississippi States University, home of the Bulldogs. Both schools provide good academics but have many differences.

Starkville has a good environment for students. The campus has several shopping places and restaurants nearby. Mississippi State is ranked one of the best schools in Mississippi. Students who will attend Mississippi State can choose from more than 160 academic degrees and master’s degrees. MSU also has an off-campus center in Meridian where undergraduate and graduate programs are available. MSU is a great school that teaches and prepare students for their future career. Students can get into over 300 clubs on campus. Mississippi State University is more known for sports. They offer a variety of sports such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, tennis, track and field, and softball. The Mississippi State Bulldogs football team have been in 10 NCAA Tournaments. Hail State is a great school that provides excellent academics and athletics.
University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State University is two of the best schools in Mississippi but they both have pros and cons. Both succeed in academics and athletics. Mississippi State provides more programs than Southern Miss. Although, the few Southern Miss have is very good programs. There are more activities and places to go in Starkville. This gives me things to do when I’m not in class. The school that would be best for me is Mississippi State
