On the second day of Monday in October, we celebrate a holiday. We celebrate a man that was very brave. And this man’s name is Christopher Columbus. We celebrate him because he sailed the ocean with three different ships. From two different Article’s it say’s different things. The first one was called “Sail On’’, and it said great things about Columbus. Many things say good stuff like he was very brave and was the first person to find America. Then to another article it says differently. The Article was called “Columbus Doesn’t Deserve a Holiday’’. This goes to hatred to Columbus, like we should not celebrate his founding of American land that we live in today. So it says different things like horrible stuff. The first one called “Sail On’’ says the best things about him. On how brave he did things. Like he was brave crossing the ocean while his men said to him to turn around. But he insisted to go forward. And he was also brave for taking about three months to find land which is now the United States. Said he was a very nice man that wanted to accomplish something. In the second article “Columbas Doesn’t Deserve a Holiday’’ it say’s many bad things about this man. Like it says he hated many people. Also said he was extremely rude to people. It had depression in this article. There are really bad things that he did that is really disgusting. So that’s really big differences in these two articles alone. So two articles about Columbus day were very different. They did not have a lot of similarities but there were a lot of differences between these two. Should There be a holiday for him, who knows. Maybe there should be a holiday for him because he pretty much found America, which is where we live
