In Education the father seems to talk more highly of the public school. I say this because he makes a point earlier in the book that he went to public school all his life. In Teaching For Social Justice she tends to favor the community college in my opinion , because she works there. One similarity that tends to be overlooked in the two stories is that they are both told from the view of adults. The first difference that caught my eye was even though these two stories are comparing education, they are comparing educations that are very many years apart.
