In this paper I will cover our company and who we are. Our company’s mission statement which is what we believe, trends in our industry, strategic position, distribution channels, risks and our SWOT analysis

Marquita, Bennie, Nathan. Our company is a local company that resides the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. We sell local organic juices that is process in our own bottling plant which has our own storefront to sell our products.

On the other hand, soft drinks and energy drinks are not moving much, but staying steady which means that generally, these companies need to try to steal customers from other companies by being the best in the industry. This is why some bigger companies such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi have multiple product lines that cover energy drinks, soft drinks, water, sports drinks and juices.
Three reasons why we chose this type of non-alcoholic beverage. One reason is to be able to give consumers a healthier juice alternative compared to what is on the market today. Next, to utilize and support local farmers in the Hampton Roads area. Lastly, the juice beverage industry is a growing industry with great upside potential.

Produce quality or lacking of produce will be handled by closely supervising of local farmers to make sure that the produce is held to our quality standards. Another idea would be to try new farming techniques such as greenhouse farming, which allows the farmer to control the environment to make sure that the produce meet all quality standards and have a productive crop. Competition risks will be addressed by still supervising the farming process which possibly be a option to have a joint ownership of a farm or to acquire land for the farmer to use to create more supply which then by controlling the cost from the seed to the bottling to the customer will allow us a major competitive cost advantage over our competition. Lastly, regulation risks would be solved by contacting the regulatory commission for beverages to set up an appointment to go over all the rules and regulations that are required for our company. Another idea would be contracting an regulation officer to come out to verify and to help resolve any issues and compliances that need to be done to make sure that our company is able to meet the standards of the beverage industry.
