Joseph Stalin rose to fame after the death of Lenin in 1924. Joseph focussed on creating a model communist state yet in the process he established a totalitarian government. The “communist” Soviet committed many acts, causing the fear of communism. An example is the death toll on his nation, eight to thirteen million people died in the transforming process only encouraging the fright. The Soviet Union had a inhumane way of battling in the American eyes, the strategy consisted of sending soldiers to fight without letting them return unless a victory was in their hands. The cherry on top was how Joseph Stalin acted with political debate and agreements, Joseph obtained what he wanted by sheer intimidation. The rivalry between these successful nations and differences between ideologies fabricated the fright of this counterfeit communism and forged the idea of the totalitarianistic political
