Ever since I was a child I always wondered about the little twinkles that winked back at me at night, and the sun which always seemed to always blind me. I vividly remembered almost every morning during elementary school looking up at the morning moon pointing out the lonesome “star” in the sky. It only caught my attention during Middle School, where I was advised that that single “star” was no other than the planet Venus. Diving into the empty deep web I learned that Venus was also a sister planet to Earth seeing how it resembles it in size and mass. Intriguing I thought, and the further I dove, the more I picked up. Venus may be an Earth look alike, but not visually. It is also the hottest planet in the solar system due to having an atmosphere …show more content…
Lowell’s Center for Space Science and Technology took on a giant task, one which could if dont correctly advance the world's current knowledge and capabilities on Space research and science. Researching the space science personally brought forth a realization and new found curiosity concerning space. The center had a sense of passion as I walked through, they wished to enlighten their cummunity, students and people of all ages who may hold an interest on anything relating to space. And they’re open to everyone, believing that everyone can be a great aspect to their team no matter what their concentration may be in college. Like Laycock, a Physics teacher who as a kid wuldnt have imagined he was exploring the very limits of space and the void mysteries amongst stars and nebulas. This reserech experience showed me that life is always full of questions and knowledge that is left unachievable and unanswered unless there’s people like you and I who are willing to put in the time and effort into reaching that end goal. Its the ones that crave knowlegde and progression, those are the ones who place that stepping stone that seemed to always be there. We call those people

The Soviet Venera 9 and 10 missions were extremely successful missions that gave us the first images of the Venusian surface. According to russianspaceweb.com, the Venera 9 and 10 spacecrafts were well equipped with plenty of scientific equipment in order to collect enough data for the short time it will be able to function. With all of this equipment, Venera 9 was able to tell us that the surface of Venus had a temperature of 459 C, a pressure of 90 atmospheres and measured a surface radiation level of 100 W/m^2. Venera 9 only lasted 53 minutes on the surface of Venus, which demonstrates the extremely hostile environment, which the numbers above also show.…

Venus is standing upright and is identifiable as a female due to the curves forming small breasts on her torso. Her torso becomes narrow at the waist and curves out to form fully defined female hips. There is a hunch in her back that forms a crease along the middle of her stomach right above her bellybutton, while the lower part of her stomach appears to be a bit rounded. Her shoulder blades are intact, but her entire left arm and the…

The idea of space exploration is a trending topic with those who have a fascination with the “Final Frontier” (otherwise known as space). Some people believe that humanity should invest into programs that benefit the idea and efforts of space exploration to make it a reality. They believe that humanity's expansion into space would benefit mankind with all the knowledge and possible materials we would gain from its expansion ; they believe it’s well worth the investment and would return profit back. However, there are others who believe that space is a threat to humanity and the sheer fact that we have many unanswered questions about space can, and will, harm us.…

It’s amazing how the same stars we look at today are the same ones, more or less, that all humanity has gazed upon. Plato, Queen Mary, Martin Luther King—the list is endless but these great historical figures have all seen the balls of light and gas that shine in the sky tonight. That’s all they are, floating matter in a vast, unknown space we call “outer space” simply because it resides outside the front door. Space. It envelopes us like an old, soft blanket with moth bites here and stains there.…

From the expected fields of astronomy and physics to more unexpected fields like geology and psychology, space exploration has provided uncountable volumes of information to dissect and discuss for many different areas of study. And, like with technological advances, these gains in knowledge have direct roots in specific programs of space exploration. For instance, new information on black holes and solar system formation has been directly accumulated from the Hubble Space Telescope, a tool that “…could reveal stars, planets, nebulae, and galaxies in all their fully-detailed glory” (Moskowitz). Or for an example far closer to home, the Voyager probes to the outer solar system discovered volcanoes on Io, the moon of the Jupiter, and 10 new moons around Uranus (Moskowitz). From this, it can be concluded that the funding of space exploration is a clear driver of scientific…
