Coca-Cola strives for replenishing 100 percent of the water used in their final products and they want to improve the efficiency of water usage by 25 percent. Coca-Cola wants to achieve a 75 percent rate on product recovery (bottles and cans) and they want to use “planbottle” packaging for all the bottles. Planbottle packaging are bottles made from plastic but with 30 percent plant material.
Coca-Cola wants to protect the environment by reducing carbon emissions made during production by 25 percent and they want to brew their beverages using sustainably agriculture ingredients.
Coca-Cola strives to work together to recycle and recover 50% of the different cans and bottles, they will introduce globally in 2015.
They estimated 43% of their current cans and bottles is currently recovered after sending through the markets.
