It is with great pleasure that I formally submit this letter of interest for the Central Behavioral Health Clinical Experience position. I am currently a rising year II student in the Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) program at Chestnut Hill College. I choose Chestnut Hill College because I was interested in developing my growth as a psychotherapist in ways that could further expand my understanding of individuals in the context of their systems. I value the growing concept of incorporating multiculturalism in therapy and believe our program truly appreciates this aspect. I have been grateful for the exposure to diversity within my coursework and am eager to further my awareness in our Culture and Gender course.

Prior to starting graduate school, I had the opportunity to experience working with many distinct populations which have expanded on my personal attributes vital to the field of clinical psychology. Volunteering at NYU Lutheran Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit, I

One of the reasons I believe Central is a suitable match is because of my interest in individual and group therapy while working from a psychodynamic orientation. I would appreciate the chance to take part in Central’s community and programs such as outpatient, intensive outpatient, and OASIS because they provide assistance to an array of distinct needs.

Utilizing my academia from Chestnut Hill College, prior professional experience, and personal characteristics I hope to contribute to the field of mental health. I would be grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a community such as Central Behavioral Health. I welcome you to contact me at (347) 749-9300 or SaleemA@chc.edu. Thank you for taking the time to review my application. I hope for the chance to meet with you in

I would especially like to work with individuals affected by crisis, trauma, and grief, and help them overcome their personal and social problems that have, without a doubt, strong negative influences on their lives. Studying at Walden University is important to me, because this school will give me the knowledge and skills that I need to help people make the most of their own abilities, develop skills, and empower them to reach their goals. The mission of Emerson, to offer family-centered therapy with the main goal of functional rehabilitation, is closely aligned with my future goals as a therapist. What drew me to Emerson’s program was the metropolitan city of Boston, where the university is located, and the diversity in clients with whom graduate students have the opportunity to serve. Through the on-campus clinic experience at the technologically advanced Robbins Center and the multitude of off-campus clinical practices that are accessible to students in Boston and surrounding areas, I feel confident that I will gain experience in all areas of the broad scope of practice of an SLP. I believe my experiences as an undergraduate make me capable of excelling in the classroom, clinical field, and research field of Emerson’s program and beyond. My goal is to strengthen and add to these skills through attending Emerson College.…
