Firstly, sea level rise has become a serious issue in the global. Vidal (2013) states that sea levels will increase almost 40-62CM by 2100. This increasing probably leads to significant effects around the world. There are more than millions of the population live in coastal habitat in developing countries will be threatened by sea level rise. In addition, the rise of temperature also is a major problem of climate change. The rising temperature can reduce the crop production and destroy farmland and make people living in unbearable hot condition. Vidal (2013) reports that land and sea temperatures are predicted to rise by 4C next 100 years. Higher temperate could reduce food supply and leads to more weather disasters. Furthermore, another problem is more intense and unusual rainfall in some developing countries. The stronger cyclones and heavier rainfall will cause flooding in some areas, and devastate crops and property. Vidal (2013) reports that more rainfall and lack rainfall in developing countries have changed because of climate …show more content…
For example, UNDP (2012, p.120) points out that Tianjian has taken some efficiency measures to build an Eco-City, such as using renewable energy like wind and solar energy, and reducing carbon emission in transportation and daily life.In addition, cutting energy use also is a valid method to reduce climate change. UNDP (2012, p.120) reports that some developing countries are starting to use advanced technologies to reduce energy use.In Rizhao,China, they do not use fossil fuel completely, some streetlights, water heating and cooking devices are used through solar-powered. At the same time, some cities through building green house and reducing vehicle emission to deal with climate change. UNDP (2012, p.120) notes that cities are beginning to use low-pollution fuels and biofuels instead of emission-intensive fossil fuels.those method not only to decrease the air pollution but also to dramatically reduce the cost of energy consumption. Other cities select building green building as their target. UNDP (2012, p.120) reports that builders use more environmental-friendly materials to build green house, such as using fly-ash bricks and solar energy. Therefore ,these solutions can reduce carbon emission and cut energy use, eventually resolve climate change
