Myasthenia gravis was an auto immune disorder, which had symptoms such as difficulty breathing, lifting objects, walking, fatigue, and weakness in other voluntary muscles also. Tests done to diagnose this disorder were MRI, EMG, and nerve conduction studies. This disorder has no cure, but there are specific lifestyle changes to help cope with the disorder. Doctors may give sleep aids or pain killers to help relieve some of the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, but nothing that actually fixes the problem. Some doctors are trying to have their patients do daily exercising, which will help increase the amount of energy they have. Doctors are also telling patients to eat a healthy balanced diet, even though there is no scientific evidence that nutrition helps the condition, but doctors agree that patients with chronic fatigue syndrome should avoid alcohol, caffeine, heavy meals and excessive amounts of junk food (Gartner, 2013). Some articles also suggest drinking 8-12 glasses of water daily because it helps fight the fatigue (Rowland, 2014). Rowland also suggests taking vitamins such as vitamin B, magnesium, iron, copper, and zinc. These vitamins serve purposes with fatigue, muscle relax, reduce inflammation, or help improve memory.
