Chris Mccandless can be described as Inconsiderate for many reasons. McCandless never bothered to let his family, specifically his parents, know where he was when he was gone for two years. In (chapter 11) it says “How is it ... that a kid with so much compassion could cause his parents so much pain?” This shows that...McCandless had so much love and compassion towards his parents and growing up with the childhood he had, he and his siblings had a hard life when they figured out what was really happening. On page (Chapter 11)it says “The whole idea was to lose our bearings, to push ourselves into unknown territory.” Therefore…McCandless thinks it's better to live out where he is welcome by the world better than his parents. His is apparent when It takes a great deal of courage to travel somewhere you’ve never been before, on your own, with little provisions.
