Some countries overuse more than others essential leaving the less fortunate countries in the dust. We over consume food and water as if they are endless resources. Most of us hold no regard for the future and just plow ahead with the mindset that money can buy anything and everything. Chip references resource wars as a result of our overuse and overpopulation. When these resources run out, most likely to be water first. The people left on this planet will fight for their survival. There are programs in place to prevent this sort of thing from happening but when you have a thousand people trying to save water and ten thousand wasting water. Then most likely it is not making much of a difference. We have overrun every piece of land on earth cutting down millions of acres of trees to make room for more people and new stores filled with stuff we don’t truly need the same stuff we will over consume. With new factories to make the products we don’t need comes new waste polluting our skies, ground and inadvertently poisoning our water. The chemicals in our world, including the ones in our drinking water have made their way into everything and everyone. There is no way to escape it so we must now live with it. We don’t know what these chemicals will do and are doing in our bodies. We hope that our bodies will adjust and evolve and fear the opposite. We are fixated on chemicals to make the world better, faster and more efficient. This is another thing we go into headfirst with no cause or concern for the future.
