1. The blastocyst helps make the different parts of the embryo inner cell mass, which in turn helps to make the embryo proper
2. The trophectoderm and primitive endoderm make extra embryonic structures that support the growth of the embryo
3. Two to eight cell stage embryos are used for making chimeras, since they aren’t committed to helping a particular cell lineage and could possible make the inner cell mass or trophectoderm
4. If two diploid eight cell stage embryos are used to make a chimera, the chimerism can be found later in the epiblast, primitive, endoderm and trophectoderm in the blastocyst.
5. It is possible to dissect the embryo at other stages which give rise to one lineage of cells from the embryo and not others.
Using chimerism to get the geneseed into the human body is quite possible, because there have been reported cases around of human chimeras, an example is a female who was reported have had two different blood types in her this was apparently resulted because she had her twin brothers cells in her, this type of chimerism is not rare. Another case was reported in 2002 when Lydia Fairchild was denied public assistance when the DNA that was taken from her and her children were different, the defendant put up the possibility of chimerism and it showed that she …show more content…
The reasoning behind why chimera cells can be used in cloning is because it is quite similar, it can also make cloning more successful because it messes with the inner and outer cell before it can fully develop into a cell. Therefore it can be used to make the cell and the egg a lot more stable for when we try to clone and from that we can manipulate someone so that they have no flaws and are able to copy that perfect egg over and over
