It's about a woman named Justine, who just got on a plane back from Africa. There she meets an evangelist who's also been to Africa. In the beginning Justine is pretty uncomfortable. She thinks that something on the plane smells burned and she tries to get an aspirin from the stewards, but they're very busy taking care of some of the other passengers. The other people we only know by their stereotypes. Like the evangelist and the old tortoises.4 Justine seems like a person who does not wish to fight, and she is permitted to get to an agreement, but that does not mean that she's a pushover as we can see here “Justine rushed to show how she could relate to this”5 and “'I respect what you're saying' she said untruthfully...”6. In both instances she feels a need to conform and try to be polite, even though they have very different stands on the bible. If we put ourselves in the evangelist position, then I think that he thinks the only 'good people' there are, are good christians. Those who believe in christ, the way he belives, become good people. Whereas from Justine's point of view, good people are just generally good people. People who do good deeds and helps other people. I'm not sure she thinks that the evangelist is a good person, but she tries to make him one(with her definition on what good people
