• Briefly define each of the Literary Structures in Ch. 7. Which structure appeals to you the most and why?
Assonance – Finding similarity between vowels but not consonants.
Consonance – Two or more tones playing simultaneously and sound good to the ear.
Theme – The main idea of the story or literary piece of work.
Denotation – A literal meaning of what the words say or suggest.
Connotation – When language suggests emotional meaning or the words mean more than they say.
Narrative – A story told to an audience by a story teller.
Narrator – The story teller. This character in a fiction is often the main character. The author is the ultimate controller of the narrator.
Episodic narrative – A multiple adventure story.
Epics – A longer episodic
