Dear, Mr. Warren/Stepdad I think that schools should ban cell phones because it is not safe for students to have cell phones, students don’t need cell phones, and they are a distraction. One reason that schools should ban cell phones is because cell phones are not safe in schools. For example every time I research on if cell phones should be banned lots of safety experts say that cell phones are not safe in schools. Another example is if there is an emergency and the school needs to call the police or fire apartment, they won’t be able to come as fast because most parents will be trying to call their kids to see if they are okay, and that will slow the phone network. Lastly, cell phones get stolen a lot and a group of kids have been caught stealing $4,000 worth of electronics.…

Schools should not ban cell phones from the school but cell phone use should be ban from classrooms unless it is being used in a productive way and with teachers permission. NEHS should not have a ban because a ban will not stop all kids from bringing their phones to school, cell phones can be a helpful tool, and it is a great way to insure that the child is safe. Even though a ban on cell phones does dicrease the percentage of kids that use their cell phones during class a complete ban on cell phones will not stop all kids from bringing their cell phones to class or the school.…
