Madness of Vengeance and Death In Shakespeare's Tragic Story “Hamlet”, Hamlet Prince of Denmark references Demarks state of Decay and Deceit. Following his father's death Hamlet falls to an understanding of death and how he views it, also how vengeance and madness ultimately becomes his downfall in the end.
Prince Hamlet the son of the dead King Hamlet who was murdered by his brother King Claudius and uncle of Hamlet is stricken with anger and vengeance for the death of his father. Hamlet is a symbolism of tragic Cause and Effect in death madness and revenge. When Hamlet decides to take revenge on Polonius, he set his fate, Hamlet he could not act on impulse for things that require quick, decisive behavior, and that he acted on impulse for things that required of a planned maneuver. This is again where cause and effect intertwine in this play, having hamlet not act accordingly and not having a better planned delayed his actions and ultimately seized his fate. The definitive effect of Hamlet's tragic flaw is magnified over time. It’s effects reach out throughout the play and right and the very end where tragedy occurs. If Hamlet could have Killed Claudius sooner, He could've taken the throne and restored it to what it was in honor of his father and succeeded revenge. Hamlet could have also made everything normal once again, reconnecting ties with Ophelia and Laertes. Also, the tragic deaths of Polonius and Gertrude could have been prevented. But in thought the results of the flaw were exceedingly tragic. The deaths of everyone in this tragic play came in by the chain of events of cause and effect. Choices creating tension upon more the end result of Hamlet’s to act and make decisions efficiently not doubting he is a smart rational thinking
