Robinson told me the following information in summary: On 08-29-15 at approximately ????? hours, Robinson was admitted into the Huntington Memorial Hospital (HMH) for surgery. Robinson locked and secured her residence as well as her master bedroom door before heading into HMH. During her hospitalization, Robinson asked her granddaughter Kathy Robinson-Young (DOB 06-08-58, 626-379-4097) if she would retrieve miscellaneous hygiene products from her residence (V/Robinson), NFD. Kathy agreed to do so and retrieved Robinson 's house keys from her possession. It should be noted that the house keys also included Robinson 's master bedroom key. Robinson saw that Kathy was occupied by her daughter Sachi Hamilton, NFD as she left the hospital. Kathy and Hamilton returned to HMH with Robinson 's hygiene products and also returned her house keys. On 10-03-15, Robinson was discharged from HMH and returned to her residence. Upon her arrival, Robinson did not noticed any type of forced entry to her residence or to her master bedroom door which was locked. Robinson entered her bedroom and looked inside of the top dresser drawer. She and noticed that an unknown suspect(s) took her late husband Mack Robinson 's silver "XL Olympiade Berlin 1936" Olympic Medal that he won with the USA Track and Field team for the 200 Meter field event. The metal was kept in a grey case which was inside a blue case. The metal and two cases were missing. Robinson continued looking through the top drawer and noticed that her brother, Jackie Robinson 's, "1955 World Series Brooklyn Dodgers VS. Cincinnati Reds" baseball lapel pin with the "Cincinnati Stadium" printed on the face was also missing. The lapel pin was kept in a small blue zipper bag. Robinson also noticed that her brother 's Jackie Robinson, two gold cuff links with his face stamped on the front was missing. Robinson told me the stamped face of Jackie Robinson is in color. Jackie Robinson is wearing a blue baseball cap and a white jersey with two blue strips. Robinson immediately contacted her attorney, John Byrne (213-620-0460) and notified him of the missing items. Byrne reportedly advised Robinson to continue looking for the items and focus on her recovery from the hospital. Byrne also told Robinson to contact him again if she was unable to
