Mercer University was founded in 1833 in Penfield, Georgia. This school was founded by a group of prominent Baptists around the local area. The school itself was named after Jesse Mercer, another Baptist leader during this time and the first chair of the Mercer Board of Trustees. The school would start off small with only about 30 students for males only. As time went on, the school would grow larger and take on more students of the same white race of course.…
Before we found the desirable solution, we did many research about how did other university to solve the similar problems and tried to get some ideas from the information. By doing research and analyze the situation in Michigan Tech, we figured out three solutions for the parking problem. First of all, we think Michigan Tech could build a parking garage in campus to provide more parking space. Then we think Michigan Tech could limit parking to students by the age and need, just like forbidding first-year students to park in campus. Thirdly, we think Michigan Tech could install an off-campus parking lot for students and provide shuttles to bring them to campus.…

1. If the owner of an apartment complex that caters to KU students offered to make a $10,000 dollar contribution to the Lawrence suicide hotline, if I reduced the number of parking places and benefit the KU bus line the effects could range from very small to very large. If I give into the owner of the apartment complex the suicide hotline has more money and could save more lives. However the students would loose their parking spaces and the apartment complex would become more appealing to them as a place to store their cars.…

University of Central Missouri seems to be addressing EPCA through multiple policies that act as a guidelines towards how student email is subject to being intercepted and read by the university. First, as per the university's email regulation guidelines defines what is considered to be an appropriate use. It further defines what constitutes as an inappropriate use of the email system.…
During registration, students are required to obtain a parking permit to legally park on campus. Some students tend to find that the fee for a parking permit is too expensive for college students’ budget. Many teachers agree that it is too costly for them…
Campus Parking Problems I. Introduction A. Are you tired of our school spending our money on pointless things like changing the name of the school or building extra dorms? I know I am. Augusta University needs to spend our money on better things like getting more parking spaces because this is more important than a name change or individual rooms that is why we have apartments. There is a major problem on this beautiful campus of Augusta University. Parking is always an issue with students, parents, visitors, and faculty.…
“The university charges students $61 per semester for parking,” says an article from the Dayton Daily News, “As of last year, WSU has 16,842 students who attend classes at the main campus in Fairborn.” Since the start of the 2015 Fall Semester, numerous parking citations have been issued to students who are in violation of Wright State’s parking policy, but the reason for these violations is not what one might think. Students complain about the difficulty and competition associated with the search for a designated, legal parking space, whether they’re on-campus residents or commuters. After repeatedly circumnavigating their designated parking lot looking for a free space, students, who are either in danger of being late to their class or…
Student Parking Its a crisp October Monday morning as Jill makes her way to the Tyler Junior College. She anticipated a crowded campus so she woke up thirty minutes earlier than she usual, just to ensure herself a parking space on campus. Upon arrival she soon realizes that her plan failed, every student parking space near her class was filled. The clock already showed that she had ten minutes before she will be late.…
We aim to decrease the number of tickets received by students by making the rules and regulations clear. The goal is to improve the quality of the system through innovation, convenience and consensus. Each year a class of students graduates and new students come in. Every student has a different need and different schedule this provides DOTS with less incentive to accommodate the students every year, demotivating them. The rise in student enrollment and growth in overall campus population, paralleled with a limited supply of parking spots has led to an improperly managed transportation system.…
Have you ever had a bad day because you cannot find a parking spot on campus and was late to class, missed a test or even got into a car accident because everyone was trying to rush through the parking lot? Almost every student has experienced something like this before because of some rip off parking lot. The problem is UNLV parking is too small to fit everyone 's car, yet student are still expected to pay an expensive parking fee. Students have to pay a substantial amount to park at the UNLV while their tuition is extremely high. Parking should be free considering how much student tuition costs at universities, and to solve this problem, the university can use student’s tuition, parking tickets, fundraisers, and state funding to help…
Do You Enjoy Saint Joseph’s College? For our final project in Business Statistics, we chose to pose the question, “What affects one’s enjoyment of Saint Joseph’s College?” In other words, are there direct correlations between things like gender and school year and one’s enjoyment of SJC? We though perhaps one’s gender might affect how much they enjoyed SJC – perhaps females enjoyed their time at this institution more than males.…
The American educational system is constantly up for debate; citizens and politicians alike discuss improvements to be made on how to educate the nation’s youth, how government funds should be allocated towards education, and how America’s educational system is falling behind other industrialized nations. In our society today, students face a multitude of factors that can ultimately decide their post-secondary education. Among these include a student’s transition from high school to college, the cost of college in comparison to universities abroad, and the difference between attending a traditional higher education university and attending a professional school. Furthermore, with the average annual increase in college tuition being nearly 260%…
