a. The child is being care by both of the parents. Also, the social class of the child seems to be middle class family. In Tokyo, it seems that applying skills to the child is important rather than being competitive with other kids. The places that the mom went with the Mari it was a group work. Their communities work on groups for the well-being of the child. The movies showed that in Tokyo there are many people and a lot of traffic.

a. Mari was born in Tokyo where she only learned that language. The other kids learn their native language which was different from Mari.
b. The setting of the school was different from the house setting. For example, in the house, Mari was able to play by herself and she didn’t have to share her toy with anyone. In the day care, she learned that there are rules and norms that need to be followed.
c. There was a different when interacting with other children. Mari was getting mad at another girl in the park because she was touching the playground area.
