Registered Nurse
The career of a registered nurse includes caring for and educating patients. Another part of this career is advising and consoling the patients and their families. Some of the responsibilities that come with the career of a registered nurse are writing down the patient’s medical history and symptoms, giving tests and analyzing the results, teaching their patients how to live with whatever illness or disease that they have, operating and monitoring the medical equipment, and informing their patients about the lifestyle changes that they will have to make due to their health problems. They have to learn how to use the equipment. The career of a nurse requires dealing with a lot of people. They have to treat the patient and their family with kindness.
The career of a registered nurse can be done at a hospital, nursing or residential care facility, physician’s office, or home health care service. While working as a nurse, there is a lot of physical activity involved like walking, standing, and lifting. Nurses are required to wear scrubs, and non-slip shoes. This education includes either completing four year of college to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in nursing (BSN) degree, or they can complete two to three years of college to earn an Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) degree. They can also get a diploma. A bachelor’s degree or higher is usually needed if they want their job to include administrating, researching, consulting, or teaching. If they have any of the three types of training; diploma, BSN, or ADN, they’re usually considered qualified to be a nurse in the staff. Some work places will offer them tuition reimbursement. To become a nurse they have to graduate from a nursing program and pass The National Counsel License Examination. The qualifications can be different depending on what state they are
