Acting has always been a pretty big interest in my life. Ever since I was in third grade it has been my goal to be an amazing actor. I love speaking in front of a crowd and the process of getting into character the whole spiel. When I am performing for a group of people and knowing that I am entertaining them and making them happy it just give me an immense feeling of joy. Not to mention the amazing stories actors get to tell it’s comparable to actually being inside of the story itself. These are just a few reasons I have decided to explore the career option of being an actor.

In order to be an actor I must be able to play parts anywhere be it on the stage, on T.V and movies, or even on the radio any setting for entertainment, important information, or instructions. Actors must also be able to convey the part of a serious or funny role just by speech, gesturing, and body language in order to please and entertain the audience (IHAPI). I may even be asked to dance or sing. Another thing I must be able to do is be able to is study, rehearse and figure out how I want to interpret my role as an actor. Afterwards I also have to memorize my script lines, stunts, and cues as directed by the director (ONET). Having to read the script over and over again can become tedious and annoying at times, but it is a necessary process in the field so I can soldier through it.
