When we were growing up, people would always ask what we wanted to be when we grew up. I remember when I was three, my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I got older, and I told her I wanted to be a pediatrician. As I grew older, I watched my dad and grandfather make a career out of being in the military. I wanted to be just like them so I decided to join. The Navy is not a career I saw myself in, so I decided to get out and pursue a career in the medical field. As I learn more and more about the medical field, my passion has become more specific on being a nurse. Starting off as a Medical Assistant will allow me to understand the nursing field better.
