Still not settling, he would become Governor Massachusetts in 1918. In 1920, Calvin ran for President of the United States, but lost in the Republican caucus. The winner, Warren G. Harding, would invite Calvin to be his Vice President, and he accepted. Harding would die in office and Calvin would take over the presidency. In 1924, Calvin ran for President of the United States and won. The victory of the presidential race was the completion of his dream. After serving, he had officially became a lawyer and a president.
