My university experience at the College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State University San Bernardino has been truly memorable. Here in my final steps towards graduation, I read the CBPA Mission Statement and can sincerely say it reflected the journey that was set before me over these past two years. Through the required lower-division core requirements, upper-division core requirements, and concentration requirements to receive my B.A. in Administration; I believe I undoubtedly received a broad education that has wholly prepared me to be a productive member in business, government, and global society.

What was significant about this course was Professor Flaherty’s highly insightful experiences concerning Human Resources Management in the real world and his engaging teaching methods which include: in class discussions of case studies, informational videos concerning course material, and an active class environment. Because of Professor Flaherty, I have retained crucial knowledge in Human Resources Management such as: employee selection and development, employee compensation and protecting, and human resources planning. This knowledge I am realistically using in my HR internship at Mattel, Inc. located at 1456 E. Harry Shepard Blvd, San Bernardino, CA 92408. From what I have experienced, Professor Flaherty fosters excellence in his teaching and is why I have grown to consider him as an outstanding faculty member in the Department of
