In other words, the file server allows the users to share document/information over the network, without actually having to save the works onto a memory stick or any other external storage device, this therefore is very useful for the business because the staff do not need to waste their time in sending the document/information to other members within the workplace. This is therefore one advantage of having a file server in the company. Another advantage of a file server would be that the data which is stored within the server is more likely to be secured, because sometimes the file server often have redundant hard disks this means that no single disk failure can cause data loss. In order for this to actually work Terex will need a switch.
