Britney Spears: Borderline Mental Illness

Britney Spears also known as “The American Queen” is a star who suffers from a medical condition called, borderline personality disorder. BDP is a disorder that causes one to have impulsive actions and extreme behaviors. Such as, extreme anger, depression, or different personalities. Some of the signs that occur when having BDP are substance abuse and self harm. One who had BDP may have an impulsive personality and extreme emotional outbursts. Britney Spears started as a young girl acting and singing in Mississippi. She soon became very famous from her singing. The older Spears got the more problems she began having. Paparazzi always criticized Britney for her choices causing her to lash out. These are the first signs I noticed. Spears was always very impulsive. Instead of ignoring comments and actions of paparazzi and fans, she would lash out. In 2005 Spears was expecting her first child, when the child was born her mothering skills were questioned when spears was found driving with the child in her lap.
